Our journey
My journey in to pottery started in 2020 during Covid lock-downs. I found it a very relaxing and rewarding activity and spent many hours falling in love with the craft.
Soon I was spending more time making pieces at home and firing at a local studio as gifts to family and friends. The more I made the more enjoyment I found in my new hobby and it would give me a thrill to visit friends and family homes and I see my creations in use.
I started to make plates and bowls at the request of friends and colleagues for them to gift. At this point my husband helped me to create a small studio at home. I then purchased my first kiln which helped me to increase my making output which in turn nudged us into joining fairs and craft markets. The website seemed like a natural progression and hopefully a link to keep in touch with customers who we meet at fairs. In general i make pots and Priyesh does the rest.
Most of my pottery is slab built and my clay of choice is white and black stoneware. All my work is for functional use, food safe and microwaveable.
Each item is handmade with love, all our items are one of a kind, even two pieces with the same glaze can differ and every firing yields slightly different results. Every imperfection helps them be truly unique.
Thank you for taking the time to view our website
